SuperGelTone™ is available in two distinct types:

Conventional grades (pre gel addition):

These require mechanical energy and a chemical activator to delaminate the individual platelets within each clay stack thus ensuring optimum thickening and suspending properties.

Self activating grades (easily dispersible):

These require relatively low mechanical energy to disperse, and do not need chemical activators to delaminate their platelets. They can be added directly as dry powders at most stages of the manufacturing process; thus eliminating the need to make a pre gel. This greatly simplifies the incorporation procedure and improves quality, consistency and productivity.
