SupAAlumina™ Activated Alumina is used to prevent harmful gases from damaging products in a wide range of compressed air applications in the compressed air industry.

SupAAlumina™ Activated Alumina has excellent crush strength and a high capacity to dry moist air due to its high absorption potential. Virtually all inorganic gases and liquids can be dried using activated alumina due to its high surface area.

SupAAlumina™ Activated Alumina is also used in instrument air drying, adsorption of oil vapour from compressed air systems, water defluoridisation, mineral oil reconditioning and dehumidification in the pharmaceutical industry.
Our 3-5mm beads of Activated Alumina is the size of choice used in regenerative dryers, whereas 5-8mm beads are used as a pre-bed material to support large desiccant beds and as a pre- buffer for silica gel beds in desiccant air dryers.
