Baltimore's range of flexible construction membranes include
polyethylene reinforced vapour checks,our high performance
vapour barrier materials for metal clad buildings,heavyweight
reinforced foil vapour control layers and reinforced radon and
methane barrier damp proof membranes.

Baltimore's vapour checks are used inside insulation in walls
and roof construction to prevent the warm air in the structure
condensing in the insulation. The reinforced nature of vapour
checks prevent tears and punctures that can compromise the
performance of ordinary building films.

Damp proof membranes are designed to control moisture levels in buildings foundations, which can lead to a variety
of problems ranging from mould to structural damage.

Our complex materials combine the effect of creating a barrier to ground water with reinforcement (for extra structural strength) and include a crucial layer of aluminium foil that provides a total barrier to harmful ground gases. Examples are naturally occurring radon in areas of igneous rock such as granite, as well as methane when used in construction on brown field sites.
