Insulation Membranes

Our insulation facing membranes are supplied to the construction industry to boost insulation properties in residential and commercial properties. We also provide a range of radiant barrier laminates for climatic control in metal roofed buildings in hotter climes. Following the introduction of Part L Building regulations in the United Kingdom for both new build and renovations there is a heavy emphasis on insulating the walls, roof spaces and floors to the highest possible levels.

assets/images/banners/Insulation-Membrane22.jpgOur insulation facing membranes are bonded to mineral wools,
glass, EPS, PUR/PIR and phenolic foam insulant membranes
providing excellent vapour barrier, reflective insulation properties
and fire ratings These membranes include reinforced aluminium
foils that provide good vapour barrier and reflective properties.
When combined with suitable insulation they offer Class 1 and
even Class 0 fire performance. The inclusion of a glass scrim
provides tear resistance during installation. They are suitable
for use on both flexible and rigid insulation formats. They are
designed to give excellent reflective properties for use in rigid
insulation panels and provide structural rigidity for the foaming
process on both sides of the material.

PUR/PIR facing membranes provide excellent gas barrier properties, which helps to keep critical lambda values for long periods. They are designed to have a good thermal resistance critical to the  exothermic nature  of the foam formation especially on high speed PIR lines. A low O2 transmission rate assists in applying the fixed increment procedure. Radiant barrier membranes work by reflecting 95% of heat being radiated through metal roof structures thus keeping the interiors cool.
