Desiccants, molecular sieves, silica gel and others, can now be integrated directly into plastic compounds and moulded or extruded into any shape via any type of plastic manufacturing technology. By using Desiccant Plastics, you eliminate the costly step of inserting components into a package and you also eliminate the risk that consumers will discard the desiccant component.
Vials, canisters, containers, film, string, sheets, trays, strips, pills or any injection moulded product can be produced to meet your specific adsorption needs. See Activ-Dri™ for an example of what is possible.
The desiccant materials used by our manufacturing partner have their own DMF and meet FDA requirements and can be seamlessly integrated into primary or secondary packaging.
