Baltimore Innovations Ltd, the UK based chemical additive specialist is delighted to announce the launch of SuperMattA™ its range of matting agents. SuperMattA™ is a micronized amorphous silica (SiO₂) with high porosity and high purity.

Matting agents are used within many different coatings systems; from clear lacquers and industrial finishes, to decorative pigmented paints. As a paint film dries, the particles of matting agent create a micro-rough surface and the incident light is diffusely reflected from this micro-rough surface conveying the impression of mattness.
