As an alternative to indicating silica gels, we supply a full range of Humidity Indicating (HI) cards to a great many manufacturers of electrical, pharmaceutical and diagnostic equipment. These cards provide a low cost method of indicating humidity conditions in various types of barrier packaging, and give customers the ability to see if the in-pack humidity is approaching damaging levels or if the in-pack desiccant needs replacing.
In addition to suppliers of packaged goods, we also supply a variety of transport companies, who used the cards to see if the silica gel component in their braking systems is within safe working limits.
Our range of cards can be used across a wide range of humidity levels from 5% to 60% RH, and are available in everything from one-spot to six-spot formats. Furthermore, we also have recently introduced a SAFE Humidity Indicator Card which is Cobalt Chloride Free. This indicator turns from Brown to Green.
Why use Humidity Indicators?
The real climatic conditions inside the sealed package are immediately evident
from a glance at the humidity indicator, which provides an essential verification
of the performance of the desiccant used. The solution indicating humidity level,
on a paper support, is accurate within 5%.

Please note that our HI cards are compliant with Defence Standard 81-132 and can
be used in Defence Standard 81–68/3 and Mil Spec: MIL-I-8835 applications.
