Cold Form Foil

Our cold formed foil material (aluminium laminate lidding to aluminium laminate blister) is manufactured to GMP standards in a Class R100,000 clean room facility. It represents the best performance giving total barrier protection from moisture vapour, O2, UV light and odours. Each individual blister is a single protection unit, even after opening the first cavity the rest are protected and are well suited to the packaging of hygroscopic tablets and capsules.

Tropical Blister

Our tropical blister foil system provides excellent barrier performance against moisture vapour, O2, UV rays and odours, and is often more economical than cold form foil. Combined with standard PTP or Foil/Heat Seal lacquer and PVC blister boosts performance and can promote branding by embossing the flat laminate.

Typical products:  25u Nylon/60u Aluminium Foil / VC.   &   25u Nylon/65u Aluminium Foil / VC.

Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAB)

Baltimore Innovations also supply Modified Atmosphere Blister (MAB), which takes the proven barrier properties of two- and three-layer PCTFE laminates and incorporates one or more desiccant strips into the blister packaging. MAB’s are most commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry to control the internal atmosphere of a package. By controlling conditions inside a package, product shelf life can be preserved during storage or transit.
